May 1-2, 2009: The Gary District and the Chicago District of the CME Church will present Evangelist James Stewart at 7:00pm on May 1st and Evangelist Stewart will hold a workshop on May 2nd beginning at 9:30am here at St. James. --Presiding Elder of the Gary District, Rev. Dr. Janice D. Blackmon.
May 3, 2009: The Mamie June Ingram Praise Dance Team Anniversary at 3:00pm. --Sis. Barbara Harper, Director
May 17,2009: Women's Day. The Theme is: "Holy Women Standing on God's Word, Rising Up and Walk." The colors: Shades of Green, We are asking the women for a donation for $50.00 each and the men for $25.00 each. Refreshment will be served after morning service. Women's Day is Chaired by the Missionary Society of St. James, Sis. Dorothy Scott, President.
